Unforgettable Vietnam Foodie Feast 2026 – Join Us for a Flavour-Packed Adventure!

Our last foodie trip EVER to Vietnam is better than ever and will sell fast, so get your besties sorted and book your places for the trip of a lifetime.

Get ready for the ultimate Vietnam culinary journey in 2026 – it’s going to be a blast! We've adored every moment of our previous Vietnam foodie adventures, but this new itinerary takes it to a whole new level. NINE nights and TEN fun-filled days await, including an internal flight, and most meals covered. (You won't be hungry, let's put it like that!) Prepare yourself for more cooking, tasting, and indulging than you ever thought possible! Ready to join? THERE ARE ONLY EIGHTEEN PLACES AVAILABLE.

The trip is priced at $6877 per person (with a single supplement of $2900). Just a deposit secures your spot, and once you’re booked, you'll get all the details for future payments. Now that the formalities are sorted, let's dive into the fun stuff!

You’ll fly into Hanoi in northern Vietnam by or before April 17th. Our friendly team will meet you and transfer you to the legendary Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi. This luxurious, historic hotel opened its doors in 1901 as the Grand Métropole Hotel and is now an icon of French colonial architecture in Vietnam and will be home for 3 stunning nights.

The Sofitel Legend Metropole blends timeless elegance with modern luxury and service. Imagine staying in a place that’s witnessed grand moments of history and hosted famous figures. Explore the intriguing history of this hotel, from Somerset Maugham’s literary moments to Charlie Chaplin’s honeymoon and James Bond's "live another day" experience! Don’t forget to tour the war bunker and discover which other iconic guests have stayed here (besides us, of course!)

Two Nights at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi: You’ll Wish It Were Longer!

Opening Night: Cheers to New Friends!

We’ll keep it relaxed on our first evening with a lovely Vietnamese dinner at Home Hanoi. It’s a great chance to get acquainted, share a laugh, and kick off our adventure in good company with great food.

Day Two: Chocolate, High Tea by the pool and Hanoi by night

After a delicious breakfast at one of the hotel’s three outstanding restaurants, we’re off to the Marou Chocolate Academy for a chocolate workshop! From scratch to tempering, you’ll explore the rich art of chocolate-making—and, of course, indulge in plenty of samples.

That afternoon, enjoy some poolside relaxation or wander nearby sights of old town (there is a great ice cream place you must visit just steps from the hotel) before we meet for a high tea experience crafted by the hotel’s five-star chefs. Expect picture-perfect treats and flavour that’s pure indulgence, perfect for snapping and savouring!

Night Out in Hanoi
Kick off at 5pm with coffee at Long Bien Station, where you can sip and watch the trains roll by. Then stroll across the famous Long Bien Bridge as the city lights up, with a glimpse of Banana Island’s rustic farming community below.

Next, wander through the Old Quarter along the railway tracks – a fascinating slice of history where trains still pass through narrow streets lined with cafés.

Dinner is a Hanoi classic: Cha Ca (grilled turmeric fish) or a delicious vegetarian alternative. Dessert is pure local flavour – from sweet chè to refreshing fruit with condensed milk, or chewy yogurt cubes.

End the night with a leisurely walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, or, if you prefer, a cocktail at a lively local bar before heading back to the hotel.

Day Three: Sunday Brunch, flight to Hue and Royal Dinner

Enjoy a last leisurely breakfast (I will be skipping this!) or a swim before checking out and heading over to brunch.

Capella Hanoi: Where Opera Echoes Through Luxury

Nestled in the French-inspired Old Quarter, just steps from the Hanoi Opera House, Capella Hanoi is a boutique hotel that feels like stepping into the golden age of opera. Designed by Bill Bensley, (more about him later) it was imagined as a “petite auberge” the kind of place where composers, singers, costume designers and artists might have gathered after the final bow. You will enjoy visiting this amazing place. Throughout the space, operatic memorabilia, hand-painted murals, bespoke portraiture, vintage costumes, and art-nouveau or art-deco touches provide romance, character, and a sense of theatrical elegance.

But don't forget, we are here for brunch! Every Sunday from 11:30, Capella Hanoi presents what many guests call the brunch in town: The Fulton Fish Market Brunch in The Hudson Rooms with free flow bubbles.

Expect a rooftop-setting with sweeping city views. The menu is generous and indulgent: premium seafood, caviar, excellent steaks, fresh ingredients, vibrant flavours, and creative touches.

From brunch we will travel to the airport to board our flight to Hue, the Imperial capital.

We will check into our beautiful hotel, Azerai La Residence, which sits grandly on the banks of the Perfume River. At its heart is a restored 1930s French-colonial mansion, once part of the residence of the French Resident Supérieure.

You’ll have a little time to settle in before we step into the Ancient Hue Garden Houses, where we’ll play at being royalty, dressing, dining, and enjoying entertainment just like the long line of Vietnamese emperors once did.

Day Four: Exploring Historic Hue and a high tea river cruise

Today’s packed with unique experiences! We’ll start with a visit to the Khai Định Tomb, where elaborate mosaics, intricate carvings, and a fusion of Eastern and Western styles reveal the grandeur of Vietnam’s last emperors. Next, we’ll head to Incense Village, watching artisans craft incense by hand, and even have a go at rolling some incense, (harder than it looks!) a perfect spot for unique souvenirs. Along the way, refresh with local sugar cane and coconut juice, Vietnamese style!

In the mid afternoon, we’ll step back in time as we meet a descendant of Vietnam’s last royal family in her home. She’ll share stories of her royal heritage, and we’ll savour traditional dishes once fit for kings and queens. This culinary experience is a real treat, offering a unique taste of Hue’s rich food history.

After our lunch, we will head back to the hotel for a special high tea cruise along the Perfume River with so many beautiful scapes along the way, you may spend most of your time on deck taking pictures.

The evening is yours to explore. Enjoy time by the pool, in the beautiful hotel bar, book a spa experience or wander the vibrant night markets for even more local flavors.

Day Five: Journey to Hoi An, Lagoon Tastes, and Banh Mi Bliss

After breakfast, we’ll meet our guide and driver for a scenic journey to Hoi An. We’ll pass through Lang Co and stop at a famous fishing village in the lagoon to sample grilled pearl mussels with green onion oil. The friendly restaurant owner might even give us a quick kitchen demo! You’ll also get a chance to shop for local pearls, luckily they accept credit cards, because you will find some beautiful mementos of your trip.

Continuing on to Hoi An via Danang, we’ll stop at the famous Banh Mi Ba Hung Bakery for what I consider the best banh mi in Vietnam (as far as my taste tests go, anyway!). Once in Hoi An, we’ll visit a silk vendor for custom tailoring before checking into the La Siesta Resort and Spa for 3 wonderful nights.

With four stunning pools, including a saltwater and infinity pool, this resort combines traditional charm with modern luxury. Its award-winning La Spa offers unique treatments like Himalayan salt stone massages, and you’ll enjoy a 90-minute spa treatment as part of the trip! Located just a short walk from Hoi An’s center, the hotel provides easy access to local markets, cultural landmarks, and nearby beaches—an ideal base for a luxurious and culturally rich stay.

A Night of Adventure: Vespas, Street Food, and Lanterns in Hoi An

Our evening kicks off with a thrilling Vespa ride through Hoi An’s bustling streets, landing us at a local spot for cocktails and some mouthwatering street food. Next, we’re off to taste one of Hoi An’s specialty dishes before zipping over to a charming lantern-lit islet. Here, we’ll hop on a boat for a leisurely cruise along the ancient town’s riverbanks, setting lanterns afloat and watching the town light up around us.

The night continues with more tasty starters overlooking the river, accompanied by a few refreshing beers. A quick Vespa ride brings us to a lively restaurant where we’ll dive into Vietnamese-style hot pot, cooking our own and learning the art of wrap ‘n’ roll. Finally, we wrap up our night at a modern gem in Hoi An’s dining scene, enjoying a Vietnamese BBQ feast before a refreshing dessert to top it all off.

Day Six: Morning Market and Cooking Class at Red Bridge

After breakfast, if you’re up for more food adventures, we’ll start our morning at 8:00 a.m. with a vibrant cooking class at Red Bridge Cooking School. First, we’ll wander through a bustling local market, followed by a minivan trip to Tra Que Organic Village, where farmers tend their crops using traditional, non-mechanized methods. You’ll pick fresh herbs for the class.

With our shopping list in hand, we’ll gather unique ingredients like star anise, cardamom, and banana flower at the village market. At Red Bridge, you’ll learn to cook authentic Vietnamese dishes, including the beloved Pho, guided by a local chef. After savouring your culinary creations, we’ll cruise back to either our resort or Hoi An old town along the river. Feel free to bring a swimsuit if you want to relax by the pool afterward or during the class, it’s the perfect way to unwind!

Free Time in Hoi An: Shop, Sip, or Snooze!

Take some well-deserved free time in Hoi An—whether it’s finishing up your shopping, unwinding with cocktails at the hotel’s swim-up bar, or sneaking in a nap (you’ll thank yourself later!). Rest up, because the evening holds a truly unique experience!

Tonight, we’re off to a crowd-favorite dining spot from 2024-25: Reu. Here, the chefs have prepared an exclusive 15-course tasting menu just for us, packed with unforgettable flavours and topped off with delectable desserts. And yes, we’ll finish with fish sauce coffee! It might sound wild, but trust us—it's surprisingly delish.

Day Seven: Free Day for shopping in Hoi An but join us for dinner at sunset.

After feedback from the last few groups, we are gifting you a day of freedom from food and activities (at least until sunset!) So get your shopping shoes on, melt some plastic and get those souvenirs sorted. OR, lay by your personal pool, get another spa treatment (yawn!) or just catch up on some sleep.

Join us at sunset for another unique dining experience at TOK (Take Over Kitchen) restaurant. Enjoy the sun setting over the rice paddies as you sip a cocktail and prepare your palate for another great meal. With a farm to plate philosophy, this restaurant supports local farmers and fisherman and has a regularly changing menu based on what is available. It has become one of Hoi Ans most highly regarded dining experiences.

Day Eight and Nine: Luxurious Finale at the Intercontinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort

An Extra Day in Paradise at the Intercontinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort

We love this resort so much that we’ve added an extra night here! Also designed by Bill Bensley, guests always wish for a longer stay, so we’ve made it happen. Enjoy a full day to explore all the resort has to offer, then meet us for a fabulous mixology class at the Long Bar, wander across the beach with your cocktail in hand and enjoy dinner at the Barefoot Restaurant, right on the beautiful shore.

The next morning, treat yourself to a next level breakfast buffet—it’s absolutely stunning. Spend your day by the pool, try paddle boarding, visit the spa, hike through the enchanting monkey forest, take advantage of one of the many included resort activities or classes or simply relax as refreshing drinks are brought to you.

As the sun sets, we’ll gather for one final toast, a photo op, and an unforgettable Gala dinner at the elegant La Maison 1888 restaurant who received yet another Michelin star this year. With French charm and the best cuisine, this night promises to be the highlight of all our foodie events!

The next morning, we’ll say our farewells. Whether you’re continuing your travels in Vietnam or heading home from Da Nang airport, this journey will be one to remember. I hope you’ll join me for this trip of a lifetime, where food is at the heart of our experience, allowing us to connect with the culture, the people, and the unique flavours that make each destination unforgettable.
